‘Hi’ GuitarsUK - the ‘Hi’ comes from the first two letters of my surname - ‘Hinchliffe’
I design and hand-make a wide range of quality hand-crafted electric stringed instruments.
As a luthier with over 20 years of experience, I make bespoke electric ukuleles, bouzoukis, guitars, basses, stick dulcimers, deluxe solid-body cigar box-style instruments and other one-off instruments.
My workshop is located in the charming and beautiful town of Pateley Bridge, near Harrogate, at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, England. You can still experience hand-made quality by visiting the shop's website.
Customers appreciate my careful design approach, attention to detail and extensive experience. I build for function and playability whilst constructing to give the best possible sound. The instruments I make are for beginners or experienced players who want a high-quality individually hand-crafted item rather than mass-produced.
