This HiGuitarsUK Raindrop ukulele is handmade from quality materials and components in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire.

The mahogany/maple wood combination along with 2 HiGuitarsUK hot alnico pickups helps create a great sounding instrument. While an additional coil-tap switch, which taps both pickups for additional sounds, helps to create a broad pallet of tones. The vintage influenced styling, satin finish and quality chromed hardware combine to give a classy vintage yet modern vibe.

This instrument has an all steel adjustable bridge with high mass stainless steel saddles and an electric guitar like bridge string spacing (32mm D to E).

Body: Thick 2 piece, centre joined, American maple cap over a 2 piece sapele mahogany back. Gloss lacquer finish to the top and a satin lacquer finish to the back and sides.

Neck: Sapele mahogany with a multi-coat Danish oil finish. Adjustment free low profile carbon fibre neck rod. Satin lacquered, rosewood faced, headstock.

Fretboard: Hyedua with high grade 6mm mop shell fretboard dots. Slightly oversize 2.5mm side dots (for better visibility). Fretted with high grade hard American fretwire for longer fret life.

Electrics: In standard mode the pickups work as humbuckers across the 3 switch positions. Engage the coil-tap switch and both pickups enter single coil mode, with a thinner brighter sound across the 3 standard switch positions.
