This guitar is a heavily upgraded, higher market variation of the previous Prophet design. It is crafted in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire, from premium materials and components which include a vintage mahogany body, part stained burr poplar top, Seymour Duncan Pickups and Gotoh tuners.

Taken back in part exchange for a custom built electric uke. This instrument has been dismantled and cleaned. The original neck profile was possibly a little too thick to suit some, so this has been thinned and re-finished. This is why the neck is at present lighter than the body (It will darken over the coming months). The headstock has been lightly fine sanded, steel wooled and then re-oiled. Not that this was really necessary since this instrument has had minimal use and has no fret wear. Though there are 2 small dings (see photos) and a small number of very light scratches on the scratchplate. Apart from these it's basically as new, though at a much lower price. To do a build to this specification I'd presently charge over £1,500.

This guitar has been multiple stage oil finished throughout to a satin lustre. As a finish oil is great at allowing wood to vibrate freely, since it is fairly thin and largely sits in the top of the wood rather than on the surface. However this does make an oil finish more easily marked by sharp objects, so a little more care is needed (though it can be revitalised). So not one for those who are fans of heavy belt buckles!

Designed to be easy to get to grips with, the instrument's body measures 308mm (12 1/8") across and it weighs in at 3.16kg.

Body: 2-piece vintage mahogany (center joined) with a burr poplar facing. The facing has been treated with some wood dyes, rubbed in and sanded back, to help create the unusual colouring of its finish.

Neck: 5-piece Mahogany with rosewood fretboard and ebony headstock facing. Triple dot fretboard inlays. Medium profile.
