Maple Topped ‘Little Lefty ‘ Left Handed 13 5/8” Scale Solid Body Steel Stringed Electric Soprano Ukulele. Brown Stained Top.

This ‘Little Lefty’ model has a piccolo sized body with an extended scale soprano neck. Unlike most HiGuitarsUK instruments, this one has an all gloss finish: A thin open grain gloss finish to the neck, back and sides, with a flat high gloss lacquer finish to the top of the body.

The combination of a maple topped sapele body and sapele neck combined with a Lace ‘Powered By Lace’ pickup helps to create a great sounding instrument. The vintage influenced styling, gloss finish and quality chromed hardware combine to give a classy vintage yet modern vibe.

This instrument has an all steel adjustable bridge with high mass stainless steel saddles and an electric guitar like bridge string spacing (31.5mm G to A).

The slightly extended 13 5/8" (345mm) scale length will work well with the top 4 strings from a set of D'Addario EJ21 electric guitar 12s with a wound 3rd, tuned G-C-E-A with a low G. The gauges used are also easily individually purchasable online via eBay, etc.

Body: 2 piece sapele mahogany with a 5.5mm thick stained spalted maple cap.

Neck: Sapele mahogany, colour matched to the body. Adjustment free low profile carbon fibre neck rod.

Fretboard: Hyedua with high grade 6mm abalone shell fretboard dots. Slightly oversize 2.5mm side dots (for better visibility). Fretted with high grade hard American fretwire for longer fret life.

Electrics: Lace ‘Powered By Lace’ single coil plus volume control
